Imagine the impact if around 96 restaurants and over 9,000 Irish farmers change a little.
Together we can change a lot.

Why Now?

We’ve been proudly serving communities across Ireland since 1977. But this moment in time requires us to accelerate our ambition – and work even harder to look after each other and our planet. That means not just keeping pace with change, but leading the change, and playing our part in bringing a more sustainable, fairer future within closer reach for everyone.

So, in 2021 we set ourselves a challenge to lead this change across five key areas. Our Plan for Change set ambitious goals and actions right across our business, from farms to front counter, and beyond. This includes achieving net zero emissions  across our entire business and value chain by 2040.

Setting out our net zero roadmap

We will aim to reach net zero emissions by 2040 across our entire business and value chain to help tackle climate change.

Working with farmers

We’re working with Irish and British farmers to protect nature and livelihoods through our Farm Forward Programme.

Delivering more choice

We’re helping customers to make healthier choices, refreshing our menu signposting and nutrition labelling.

Closing the loop on waste

We’re giving waste a second life by recycling, reusing or composting more.

Championing people

We’re helping people gain new skills through our education, work experience and apprenticeship programmes, with a focus on supporting people from underrepresented groups.

Working with local charities

We’re stepping up for families and young people, supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities® and youth work.
