As a Crew Member, you'll make it happen, whether you're preparing food, serving on the till or helping out in the dining areas. We'll train you in our high standards of customer service, food preparation, and cleanliness & hygiene. But the rest is up to you.

You'll be the person who offers our customers a warm welcome to the restaurant and anticipates what they need. That means everything from explaining the menu to getting to know our regular customers. Working mostly in the dining area, you'll monitor quality and cleanliness and ensure everything runs smoothly. We'll train you in our high standards of customer service, cleanliness & hygiene. But the rest is up to you.

A genuine smile and an ability to connect with others is a great start. You love dealing with different types of people and are ready to work as part of a team. High levels of energy are vital. You're efficient at getting things done, but that doesn't mean you skip on the details. You like to get things right - every time.

Work Experience is a great way to build your skills and your CV and find out what you could enjoy doing in the world of work.

We have created a virtual Work Experience programme which showcases the skills and behaviours that employers most often look for.

The module introduces students to the key employability skills McDonald’s are looking for.

The modules should each take approximately one hour to complete and consist of a workbook with activities, supported by a number of short videos.

Students can complete the workbooks digitally or they can be printed.

In this programme you will learn how McDonald’s can help you develop valuable skills to help you now and in the future, no matter what industry you want to work in.

There is a workbook to complete with videos that can be watched first before moving to the next section. Inside the workbook you will find questions, quizzes and activities to help you digest and think about what you have learnt from each video. The workbook is yours to keep.  Remember to download it to your device and make sure to save your answers as you go.
