1. What is Minecraft?

2. How do I get access to Minecraft?

3. What is a Minecraft skin and how does it work?
It's an in-game skin for your Minecraft character that you can unlock when you receive a collectible with your A Minecraft Movie meal (crafted for adults). Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (purchased separately) required.
4. What is a Minecraft Add On pack and how does it work?
Minecraft Add-Ons allow you to customise gameplay by adding new elements like blocks, items, mobs, recipes, and other content to your Minecraft worlds. Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (purchased separately) required.
5. How can I get a code at McDonald’s?
You can get a code at McDonald’s when you order A Minecraft Movie meal (crafted for adults), at participating McDonald’s while supplies last. With every purchase, you will receive a collectible that comes with a trading card and a code. If you purchase your meal through the McDonald’s app, opt-into email in your app settings and you will receive an additional Add-On code. 6. Which Minecraft meal do I need to purchase for a code?
You can get a code at McDonald’s when you order A Minecraft Movie meal (crafted for adults), at participating McDonald’s while supplies last. This offer is not available with the purchase of A Minecraft Movie Happy Meal.
7. What are the steps to getting an Add On code and redeeming?
a. Open the McDonald’s app and check that you are logged login.
b. Under settings, you must opt-in to email before purchase to receive your in-game McDonald’s Add-On.
c. Order A Minecraft Movie meal (crafted for adults) in the McDonald’s App only.
d. Check your email for an in-game redemption code and a link to redeem (or go to minecraft.net/mcdonalds).
e. Click the link in the email, log-in with your Microsoft account, and enter your redemption code.
f. Once your code has been redeemed, your add-on will appear as an option to activate in your world settings in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

8. How do I opt-into email in my McDonald’s app settings?
Open your McDonald’s app. From the home screen, select the More button on the bottom menu bar (three dots). Select “Profile”. Then select “Communications”. Then select “Email”. Click the hyperlinked ‘preference page’ and ensure the ‘subscribed’ box is selected (it will light up in yellow), then scroll down and click ‘submit’.
9. How many codes can I get with my A Minecraft Movie meal?
Each order of A Minecraft Movie meal (crafted for adults) comes with one collectible, that includes a unique code. You have the chance to get 1 of 6 collectibles, for a total of 6 skins to be unlocked. Extra codes cannot be redeemed if you have already redeemed a skin.
For the Add-On, only one code is redeemable per account in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. There is a maximum limit of two codes per person during the Minecraft promotional period. An additional unused code can be shared with friends or family.
10. How many things does my code unlock?
- Skins: You’ll be able to unlock 1 of 6 skins with each collectible.
- Add-On: The 5x5 code you receive via email unlocks all the elements you need as part of the McDonald’s Add On pack, through a Minecraft recipe book and inventory. All add on pack codes unlock the same in-game elements. The add on pack includes the following: Birdie Wings, Soda Potion, Burger Crystal, Small Burger Bud, Medium Burger Bud, Burger Cluster, Grimace Shake, Big Mac, McNuggets, French Fries, Nether Flame Sauce, Golden Box, Fry Pack, Spatula, McDonald’s Crew Hat, McDonald’s Crew Apron, Ronald McDonald Painting, Grimace Painting, Birdie Painting, Hamburglar Painting, Big Mac Cube, Hamburglar Golem, Zombie Hamburglar, Birdie Chicken, Grimace Egg.
11. When do I have to activate my code by?
All codes must be redeemed by December 31st, 2025 via minecraft.net/mcdonalds
12. How many codes can I use per account?
One code per Minecraft account. There is a maximum limit of two codes per person during the Minecraft promotional period. Additional unused code can be shared with friends or family.
13. Can I redeem a code more than once?
No, you are only able to redeem a code one time. All add on pack codes unlock the same ingame elements.
14. Once I redeem my code, how do I find my SKIN OR ADD ON in Minecraft?

15. I didn’t receive my code. What do I do?
If you haven’t received your Add On code after purchasing via the app, check if you’ve opted into email in your McDonald’s app settings. You must opt into email in your McDonald’s app settings PRIOR to purchasing A Minecraft Movie meal (crafted for adults) on the McDonald’s app to receive your code. 17. Is the McDonald’s App free?
The McDonald’s App is free to download. To receive a code to redeem the skins or add-on, you must purchase A Minecraft Movie meal (crafted for adults) in the McDonald’s app and opt-in to email before purchase in your app settings. Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is not free and must be purchased separately.
18. How do I play Minecraft?
You can play Minecraft on devices with Windows 10 and 11, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and Windows Mobile.
