McNugget Lovers: Dip into three flavours of McDonald’s nostalgia with the new Throwback Sauces

If there is one thing the generation of ‘80s, ‘90s and ‘00s kids can agree on, it’s that one bite of Chicken McNuggets® with your favourite dipping sauce can take you back in time. To celebrate decades of golden, crispy goodness, sacred dipping rituals and all the special moments that go along with them, McDonald’s Canada brings fans the new Throwback Sauces, available for a limited time only at participating restaurants.

Starting tomorrow, McNugget lovers of every generation can unlock those core McDonald’s memories with the three new dipping sauce flavours inspired by different eras:

• 1980s Garlic Parmesan Sauce - A rich and savoury sauce, boasting garlicky notes, cassette mixtapes and not having a cell phone

• 1990s Szechuan Sauce - A zesty and spicy sauce reminiscent of bright neon colors and the early internet   

• 2000s Jalapeno Cheddar Sauce - A sauce that gives hints of spicy jalapeño, boy bands and a little too much denim  

Guests can order a 6-piece Chicken McNuggets Meal with one sauce or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets Meal with two sauces as part of a Throwback Meal. More than just the taste, the Throwback Meal looks the part with retro packaging design that will make fans say “wicked,” “off the hook,” or “cool beans.”
