Sarah was promoted to Vice President, Operations North in March 2020. She is responsible for all restaurants and franchising operations in the northern region and the Republic of Ireland.
Having first joined McDonald’s in 1994 as a restaurant Trainee Manager, Sarah quickly progressed to become Operations Consultant in 2001, before joining the Field Services Team. Her passion and dedication was recognised with the coveted McDonald’s President’s Award in 2007.
During her time with the business, Sarah has worked in various teams. She completed a secondment in the Marketing Team, leading the award-winning ‘We are awake’ advertising campaign, and headed up the People Relations function in the People Team in 2017, supporting workplace culture across the corporate business and in restaurants.
Most recently, Sarah was Director of Operations and Franchising for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. She won the McDonald’s Three Legged Stool Award in 2018 for her outstanding contribution to the business.
Sarah’s favourite McDonald’s menu items are The Sweet Chilli Chicken Wrap and the Quarter Pounder with Cheese – always with a White Coffee.
