McDonald’s Immersive Burger experience - FAQs

1. Terms of entry

  • Tickets to the VIP experience on 17th April are limited and offered on an invite only basis – you will be informed by email if you have secured a place. Attendees will be provided with a unique one-time use code that is checked on entry and permits one over 18 guest to attend with you, however, please do not share your invitation with anyone as your code will become invalid and you risk being denied entry. Please note once exiting the experience, readmission will not be permitted. 
  • For those not attending on 17th April - the experience will be open to the public on 18th April from 07:00 – 20:00. (last admission 19:30) so there is still a chance to visit.

2. What is the address of Outernet?

  • Outernet London is located at: Now building, Outernet Charing Cross Rd, London, WC2H 8LH (opposite the Tottenham Court Road Tube Entrance/Exit 4 by Centre Point).

3. How do I get to Outernet?

  • Tottenham Court Road station is a 30-second walk from Outernet’s front doors. The next closest stations are Leicester Square station (6 minutes walk), Covent Garden station (10 minutes), and Oxford Circus station (11 minutes walk). 
  • The nearest bus stops are Tottenham Court Road (Stop T) and Tottenham Court Road (Stop S) on Earnshaw Street. 

4. Is there parking at the venue?

  • The nearest car parks are Q-Park Chinatown (6 minutes walk), Q-Park Soho ( 7 minutes walk) and Q-Park Covent Garden (10 minutes walk).

5. What items are prohibited on site?

  • Weapons, drugs, alcohol, compressed gas and flammable liquids.

6. Where can I buy tickets for the event?

  • The VIP event on 17th April is a closed event with limited availability – you will be informed if you have secured a time slot to attend. However on 18th April the experience is open to the public and does not require tickets. Simply show up on the day during the opening hours of 07:00 – 20:00. (last admission 19:30).

7. When do I need to arrive at the event?

  • If you have secured a slot on 17th April you will be allocated a timeslot. Please note if you turn up after this time we cannot guarantee access due to this being a fully subscribed event.
  • On 18th April – there is no set arrival time. Simply show up during the opening hours of 07:00 – 20:00. (last admission 19:30).

8. Does the venue have a cloakroom?

  • For those attending the VIP experience on 17th April - a small cloakroom will be available on site. Please note: we cannot store large luggage and bags are restricted to: 40x20x25cm. All items are left in the cloakroom at your own risk.
  • Unfortunately, there is no public cloakroom available on 18th April and we cannot store any luggage.

9. What are the rules around smoking at The Outernet?

  • Outernet London is non-smoking throughout, including areas within the immediate vicinity of access / egress points.

10. Will guest bags be searched on site?

  • Please be aware that guests will be subject to a bag search upon entry.

11. What is the accessibility access for the venue?

  • The venue is step free and accessible from the street.

12. What are the opening times?

  • For those attending on 17th April – your allocated entry time will be provided in your confirmation email.
  • The experience will be open on the 18th April between – 07:00 – 20:00. Last entry is at 19:30.

13. Can children use the Services?

  • On 17th April – no one under 18 will be permitted. To avoid disappointment guests should bring official government ID and may be denied entry if ID is not presented.
  • On 18th April - children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian. To avoid disappointment guests should bring official government ID and may be denied entry if ID is not presented.

14. Are pets permitted in the experience?

  • Please note no domestic animals are allowed in the experience.
  • The experience welcomes all Guide and Assistance Dogs.

15. Are there toilets on site?

  • For the 17th April VIP experience, toilets will be available. Please ask a member of the team on-site.
  • Unfortunately for those attending on 18th April – there will be no toilets on site but a member of staff will be happy to point you in the direction of the closest public toilets.

16. Is photography allowed?

  • Photography is allowed and encouraged!
  • Commercial filming, press interviews, media filming, and all professional video equipment without prior approval and the supervision of a McDonald’s representative is  prohibited.
