How does McDonald's promote effective team work?

For our restaurants to be operating well, it is really important for all members of the restaurant team to work together and follow the systems in place to ensure that the best quality food and service is provided to our customers. New employees are selected based on their ability to work as part of a team and teamwork forms a large part of our training programmes and performance appraisals. When working in the restaurants employees can be part of a number of dedicated teams, for example the Front Counter, Kitchen, Dining Area, Drive Thru and Management team.
