Do McDonald's charge for bags in Wales - and if so, how much?

All Welsh retail stores, including McDonald's, have to comply with the Welsh Assembly bag levy. This means that all retailers have to charge for a bag unless the product is unwrapped and has to be put in a bag for hygiene reasons e.g.. an open topped carton of fries. These charges have been imposed by local government and have been in place in Wales for almost 2 years. All bags have a VAT charge imposed but the rest of the charge we donate to charity
