About
Before McDonald’s
I led the Supply Chain function within a large manufacturing organisation. I’ve always really enjoyed working with people and helping them grow at work.
My connection with McDonald’s
I’ve been a customer for many years – and once I began looking into franchising opportunities, McDonald’s really stood out for its ethics and commitment to doing the right thing. I’m really proud to be part of this amazing brand.
What inspired me to become a McDonald’s Franchisee
Both my parents had small businesses, so I already had some insight into the pros and cons of owning one. Me and my husband are not huge risk takers, so risking everything we had to start a business from scratch was a step too far. I knew I wanted something different, so we started looking at franchising as it would give us the freedom and challenge of owning a business but with the security of an established system and brand. As soon as we started looking into the McDonald’s franchising model, I knew it was the one for me.
Top insight
It’s a huge commitment to become a Franchisee, but if you find a brand that you truly believe in then go for it – it’s absolutely worth it.
My growth
I’d love to continue growing my business and really make a difference in the communities we operate in.
