Fun Football

Fun Football offers a variety of ways for the family to get involved in Football. By 2026 we are committed to delivering 10 million hours of football to 1 million children across the UK.

CENTRES

Fun Football sessions hosted at Centres around the UK offer FREE football coaching for 5-11 year olds. Sessions are fun, with game based activities, and less focus on matches, allowing kids of all abilities to take part and gain confidence.

Our Fun Football coaches are all at least Level 1 qualified, ensuring they can support every child’s development and enjoyment. Most importantly we want every child to have Fun.

FESTIVALS

During the Summer, McDonald's Fun Football Festivals bring excitement to towns, cities, beaches and civic events across the UK. Festivals offer families the opportunity to test their football skills in challenges in our skills zones. Kids can get involved in football activities hosted by qualified coaches, or chill out with one of our great activity books, full of stickers, games and skills challenges, or where possible, even have their face painted all for FREE!

ACTIVITY BOOKS

You can order or download a FREE Activity Book full of full of stickers games and skills challenges, for your little ones to try at home. The games designed by qualified coaches are tailored to be easily prepared at home, in the park, or even the front room! With version 1 and 2 being so successful we are now on to version 3! Activity books are available in both English and Welsh language.

CHANCES TO WIN

Our Chances to Win competitions offer you the opportunity to win football related prizes across the year. From shirts signed by our fantastic Ambassadors, games for the garden or park, and even new boots for your little ones at Christmas. EVERYONE’S WELCOME

Working with our UK FA partners in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as Children in Need and other trusted partners, including Kick it Out, England Futsal and MSCNI, McDonald's is working to continue to make Fun Football as inclusive and accessible as possible. Football is now available in 80% of areas of greatest need in the UK and we are working hard to increase this.

In 2024, with the support of British Blind Sport and UK Deaf Sport, we launched visual and hearing impaired sessions and, in partnership with Access Sport, Pan Disability centres.
