ArchCard/Credit Card
1. Can I use U.S. McDonald's Arch cards/gift certificates in foreign countries or can I get gift certificates for countries outside the U.S.?
2. Do all U.S. restaurants accept credit cards?
At this time, Arch cards are only good for use in participating restaurants in the U.S. For comprehensive information about purchasing and using the Arch Card, please click here for the Arch Card site.

Unfortunately, due to the differing currencies and exchange rates, McDonald’s U.S. gift certificates are good only in the U.S. Canada and Puerto Rico. Also McDonald’s Home Office does not have gift certificates for countries outside of the U.S. You may want to address your question to the McDonald’s office in the country of interest. Seventy-five percent of all McDonald’s restaurants are independently owned and operated. Acceptance of credit cards at the restaurant is the ultimate decision of each franchise owner.
